Transfer Scholarships

Transfer students are considered for one of the following scholarship opportunities after acceptance:

Associate's Grant

• $7,000 to $10,000 per year
• Requires Associate's Degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Renewable for up to 3 semesters
• The scale for the Associate's Grant is as follows:
  • 3.0 - 3.19 $7,000
  • 3.2 - 3.39 $8,000
  • 3.4 - 3.59 $8,500
  • 3.6 - 3.79 $9,000
  • 3.8 - 4.0   $10,000
    

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

• $4,500 to $8,000 per year
• Requires 24 or more semester hours with a 3.25 or higher GPA and good standing
  membership in PTK
• Renewable for up to 5 semesters (depending on the number of transferable credits)

 

Transfer Scholarship

• $3,000 to $8,000 per year
• Requires 24 or more semester hours with a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Renewable for up to 5 semesters (depending on the number of transferable credits)

Deadlines for scholarships

For Fall applicants

Application for admission must be postmarked by July 1.

For Spring applicants

Application for admission must be postmarked by Jan. 1.

In addition, students are encouraged to apply for Federal Financial Aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Residents of the state of Virginia may qualify for the Tuition Assistance Grant (TAG).
