Jenny Hechtkopf graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College in 2002 with a degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies and an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. As an admissions counselor, Jenny works with students from Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This territory is familiar to Jenny, as she is a native of Virginia Beach and a Kempsville High School graduate. Prior to coming to VWC, Jenny spent four years working as a Recreation Director in a Nursing Home. Virginia Wesleyan is a common name within Jenny's family, as she is the youngest of three to have graduated from VWC. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys spending time with her friends and family-especially her nephew, Josh.
