- Junior year of high school: Get on college mailing lists and visit the campus of several colleges.
- August - December of senior year: Apply!
- October 26 of senior year: Deadline for November Wesleyan Scholarship Competition
- December 14 of senior year: Deadline for February Wesleyan Scholarship Competition
- January 1 of senior year: Begin filing the FAFSA (Free Application For Student Aid) Form
- March 14: VWC's Academic and Leadership Scholarship Deadline
- March or April: Paticipate in an Admitted Student Day
- April: Begin to make final college decision
- May 1: National Deposit Deadline for college acceptance
