Important Dates

Application for Admission

  • Rolling Admissions with a priority deadline of March 1 for the Fall Semester (notification of admission status occurs within 2-3 weeks of receipt of a completed application for admission).
  • Applications must be on file by October 16, 2009 to be considered for the November 6 Scholarship Competition, December 18, 2009 to be considered for the February or March Scholarship Competitions and before March 15, 2010 for Academic Scholarship consideration.

Financial Aid (need-based and merit-based)

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be filed after January 1 and by a priority deadline of March 1. No separate institutional forms are needed for need-based financial aid consideration.
  • Students with a 3.6 or above cumulative GPA and a 12000 or above combined SAT score (critical reading and math only) are encouraged to apply by Otober 16 or December 18 to be considered for VWC's Wesleyan Scholarship Competition (please contact an admissions representative for additional information and/or an application).

Admitted Student Days

  • Students who have been admitted to VWC for the fall 2010 semester are invited to take a closer look at becoming a Marlin by participating in an Admitted Student Day (information will be available after the first of the new year).
