Guidance Counselors

Choosing a college is one of life's first big decisions. As a guidance counselor, you play a vital role in helping students make that decision. When you recommend that students give Virginia Wesleyan College close consideration, you connect them with an institution with a strong commitment to academics, a campus with a vibrant campus life and a college that will prepare them well for graduate school or their career.

A few facts about our campus

Virginia Wesleyan offers 34 majors, with classes taught exclusively by professors (not graduate students), 87 percent of which hold the highest degree offered in their field. Our student to professor ratio is 13:1 and the average class size is just 14 students. Upon graduation, 95 percent of our graduates find employment in their chosen field within a year or go on to graduate school.
