Virginia Wesleyan College Scholarship Funding for Freshmen
Students who apply for admission by March 15 are considered for scholarship funding based on their high school profile, leadership and community activities. NOTE: Students with a high school grade point average of 3.5 or higher and one of the following: 1150 (critical reading and math scores) or higher on SAT-I or 26 or above on ACT are encouraged to apply for admission before JANUARY 1 in order to be considered for the Wesleyan Scholarship Program.
Transfer Scholarship
Based on academic performance at previous college(s) attended. Amount varies. Contact your admissions counselor for additional information.
Choral Scholarship
Based on audition with Music Department. Amount varies. Contact your admissions counselor for additional information.
Christian Service Cancelable Loan
Awarded to Virginia United Methodist Conference church members who intend to pursue employment in full-time Christian service upon graduation. Requires letter of intent and recommendation. Cancelable loan covers up to one-half of tuition.
Minister's Sons, Daughters and Spouses Grant
Awarded to dependents of ministers who are members of the Virginia United Methodist Conference. Grant covers up to one-half of tuition.
Need-based Grants
Requires completion of FAFSA. Student must show demonstrated need and be enrolled full-time. Amount varies.
