Virginia Wesleyan Programs
Academic Scholarships for Freshmen
Students with a
high school cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater and SAT scores
of 850 and above are considered. Scholarships range from
$6,000 to full comprehensive fees.
Transfer Scholarships
Based on academic performance at
previous college(s) attended. Amount varies. Contact your

Choral Scholarships
Based on audition with Music
Department. Amount varies. Contact your admissions
counselor for additional information.
Art Scholarships
Based on a portfolio audition. Amount
varies. Contact your admission counselor for additional information.
Christian Service Loan
Awarded to Virginia United
Methodist Conference church members who intend to
pursue employment in full-time Christian service upon
graduation. To apply for the loan, submit a letter of intent
and a recommendation from your UMC minister. Loan
and other VWC funding will cover up to one-half of
your tuition.

Minister's Sons and Daughters Grant
Awarded to
dependents of ministers who are members of the Virginia
United Methodist Conference. Grant and other VWC
funding will cover up to one-half tuition.
Need-based Grants
Requires completion of FAFSA.
Student must show demonstrated need and be enrolled
full time. Amount varies.
