Director of Student Activities
VIRGINIA WESLEYAN COLLEGE (VWC), a small (1400 students, 87 full-time faculty), growing, selective, and diverse liberal arts institution sited on 300 beautiful wooded acres in the heart of the historical, economically dynamic, and culturally rich Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News metropolitan area, seeks applications for the position of Director of Student Activities. The Director will be responsible for the management and facilitation of all related activities within the student activity department. The Director oversees the Wesleyan Activities Council (student programming board), provides general support for all campus clubs and organizations, serves as Greek Life advisor to three National Fraternities and five National Sororities, and coordinates commuter student services. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree, a Master’s Degree is preferred, in student personnel or a related field. Applicants must have at least five to seven years of experience in student activities, preferably at the collegiate level.
