Assistant Professor of Psychology

 

VIRGINIA WESLEYAN COLLEGE (VWC) invites applications for a tenure-track position as assistant professor of psychology, beginning fall, 2013. A Ph.D. in psychology is required at the time the position begins.  Course assignments will include some combination of biological psychology, cognition, sensation and perception, research methods, introduction to psychology, and courses in the candidate’s area of specialization.  Shared departmental responsibilities include sponsorship of undergraduate research projects.  The teaching load is three four-credit courses per semester. The salary is competitive and an attractive benefits package is offered.
