VIRGINIA WESLEYAN COLLEGE (VWC) invites applications for a tenure-track position as assistant professor of Biology, Plant Physiology, beginning fall, 2013. A Ph.D. in Biology is required at the time the position begins. We seek a candidate with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and research. Teaching responsibilities will include non-majors introductory biology as well as advanced level courses in the candidate’s specialty. The successful candidate is expected to establish and maintain an active undergraduate research program. The salary is competitive and an attractive benefits package is offered.
