Security Officer

Virginia Wesleyan College Security Department has the following immediate full-time, 40 hour per week, opening available:
Security Officer: Split shift, three evenings (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and two days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Must have current DCJS Certification. Prior college, hospital, hotel, or military security experience required. Retired military a plus. Must have experience in all aspects of patrol, traffic, investigations, public relations, and report writing.

Successful applicants will possess a positive, energetic personality, have strong interpersonal skills, and will be comfortable interacting with people. Computer knowledge helpful. Excellent time management and organizational skills a must.
