Abstract
The goal of the project is to optimize extraction of antioxidants from frozen blueberries using the Supercritical Fluid Extractor. I will be changing the varying the temperature, pressure, and flow rate to obtain an efficient extraction. I will also be using spikes in order to measure extraction efficiency. After the extracts are taken I will be performing a DPPH assay which will analyze the antioxidant content of the extract using the UV-Vis spectrophotometer.
