Abstract

The theme of the conference is Entrepreneurship, with each day highlighting different aspects of starting a business including; Business Operations, Financial and Legal considerations, Marketing, Social Responsibility, and Networking.
Students are working in self-managed teams with a hierarchal organizational structure. Each team has specific responsibilities geared toward creating a day of activities that promotes the day’s theme. Activities include presentations from VWC faculty and staff, speakers as from community businesses, panel discussions, fun learning activities about different marketing techniques, shark tank presentations for MBE 101 students to present their business ideas, and poster presentations prepared in correlation with business research papers from students of Principles of Management Class.
