Abstract
This research project is intended to find out if there is any correlation between Virginia Wesleyan Student’s extracurricular activities, particularly athletics, and student’s use of academic resources on campus. A convenience sample of VWC students showed that athletes and non-athletes hourly use of academic resources are similar. Both groups made use of the library more than any other academic resource on campus. However, athletes reported spending more time in weekly study hall than non-athletes. This information can help the school better support student academic needs by suggesting patterns of resource utilization.
