Love is....
Abstract
“Love is...” uses visual culture signs and other elements of semiotics to convey a message of what love is, or at least what love is in this context. The concepts used here consider the application of encoding and decoding, interpellation, negotiated meaning and aesthetics. Further, the project poses that to get a message across to an audience, only context need be presented in order to convey the message. These messages are further limited by culture and more specifically visual culture. This brief film is complex in its theoretical application. Bottom line...watch and enjoy!
