"Everyman" Stage Make Up Design

Abstract

For the Virginia Wesleyan Fall production of "Everyman," I worked with Dr. Shedd and the cast to gather character concepts. I designed each characters make up based upon their time period of choice and also the stereotypical characters they portrayed. I attended performances and technical rehearsals where I instructed each actor in how to apply their make up. I took this class to learn more about an area I had had previous experience in and during my independent study I learned more about technique as well as the process of make up design.
