Oxytetracycline to Doxycycline

Oxytetracycline is naturally occurring in soil and is produced by Streptomyces rimosus. Doxycycline is synthesized from oxytetracycline and has multiple uses from treating diseases in everything from mice to humans. Both oxytetracycline and doxycycline are both tetracyclines with antimicrobial properties.
