MARSIS Help for Students
Getting started
- Visit MARSIS by clicking on the MARSIS link at the top of any page or by clicking this link.
- First-time users: Pick up your login and password information from the VWC helpdesk in the computer lab in Clarke Hall. Your VWC ID card is required for identification. This login and password is used for both MARSIS and VWC e-mail. You will be required to change your password after your initial log in.
- Repeat users: Enter login (same as e-mail name)
and password.
Information at your fingertips
- Student demographics - shows adviser(s), major(s) class,
mailing addresses, phone, birth date, etc.
- Student schedule - print your semester schedule.
- Terms attended - view grades, GPA, etc.
- Section enrollments - see how many spaces are left
in the classes you want before you register. Select by semester, department,
faculty, or general studies category.
- Academic history - lists all semester hours transferred
from other colleges and all course work taken at VWC by department
(includes grades). This is a perfect "Unofficial" transcript.
- Transfer evaluation - detail of transfer work and the
VWC equivalencies.
- General requirements audit (GRA) - shows all general
requirements needed for graduation and which requirements have been
met.
- Progress report - shows comments and/or grades for each class at Week 7 of the fall and spring semesters.
Check the academic calendar for the
exact date of availability.
- GPA calculators - provides for grade calculation in "what
if" scenarios.
- Graduation application form - complete an Application
for Degree in only a few seconds.
- Address/phone number change request - update home/billing/parent
address and phone numbers.
- Change password - change MARSIS password for extra security.
