The preK-6 with middle education program (6-8) is designed to provide the successful student with two endorsements appropriate to teaching in the elementary schools and another for teaching the selected one 21-credit content area in the middle schools. The student must complete the following: the general studies requirements of the college, the required interdivisional major (PIDM), the sequence of professional education courses and field experiences, and must have one 21-credit content area from either English, Social Studies, Mathematics or Science.
