The middle education program is designed to provide the successful student with an endorsement appropriate to teaching the selected one 21-credit content area in the middle schools and in grades 6 through 8. The student must complete the following: the general studies requirements of the college, the required interdivisional major (PIDM), the sequence of professional education courses and field experiences and must have one 21-credit content area from either English, Mathematics, Science or Social Studies.
