Virginia Wesleyan College

For a capstone experience, PORTfolio students finalize their electronic portfolio, reflect and write about their learning experiences and participate in a seminar that is team-taught by the President of Virginia Wesleyan College and a faculty member. Focusing as well on ethical values, the seminar will discuss with students ways in which they can put their liberal arts degree "to work" that would benefit not only themselves but others as well. Emphasized will be responsibilities to oneself, to each other, and to the community.
