"The Honors and Scholars program at Virginia Wesleyan College has meant a great deal to me.  Starting out as a freshman, I was grouped with other freshman in the Honors program during Orientation and it was nice to get to know other academically driven students like myself.  Throughout my years at VWC, the Honors program gave me many opportunities.  One was being able to register for classes early which was great.  The part that I have enjoyed the most were the Honors and Scholars outings.  I got to attend events that on my own I never would have gone to, such as plays and musicals and a Broadway production of The Lion King.  I really feel like from these outings, that I was not only entertained, but cultured."
