Center Library

The Center’s academic resources include a collection of more than 1,500 books.  These materials are available to VWC students, faculty and staff, and other interested users.  The Center’s library emphasizes topics related to its mission, including constitutional law, religious freedom and church-state relations, religion and law, international human rights, and the role of religion in public and political life.  The collection also includes books on a variety of religious traditions, theology and religious studies, religious history, philosophy, education, and other topical areas.  All CSRF books are included in the college library’s online catalog, and most can be checked out.

Borrowing Policy

To borrow a book from the CSRF collection, simply come to the Center offices, located on the first floor of Clarke Hall, during normal college business hours.  If you are unable to come to the Center during these hours, please call (455-3129) and we can make other arrangements.

Students may normally keep Center books until the end of the current semester.  VWC faculty and staff may borrow books on an as-needed basis.  Books may be recalled if another borrower needs the item.  A few CSRF books do not circulate; these may be used in the Center’s offices.

VWC Hofheimer Library policies regarding lost materials, borrower privacy, and copyright guidelines apply.
