Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation
Virginia Wesleyan College seeks an accomplished leader to direct the College on all aspects of institutional accreditation, institutional effectiveness, and student learning outcomes assessment. The successful applicant will oversee the overall institutional effectiveness program in support of the college’s strategic plan and goals, as well as institutional accreditation. The Director will provide ongoing expertise for institutional accreditation and assessment, and will work collaboratively to enhance the consistency, rigor, effectiveness, mapping, and documentation of institutional effectiveness initiatives at the College and to ensure that the institution meets the rigors of accreditation. A successful candidate will have experience with benchmarking, trend analysis, and external reporting processes; exceptional oral and written communication skills; and effectiveness in working both autonomously and collaboratively. Advanced degree in a relevant field (doctorate preferred) and several years of institutional research experience in a higher education setting are required.
